Step 1: Download the Bonjourr Chrome Extension

1. Open Chrome Web Store: Launch your Chrome browser and go to the Chrome Web Store. You can do this by typing chrome://extensions in the address bar, then clicking on "Open Chrome Web Store."

2. Search for Bonjourr: In the Chrome Web Store search bar, type "Bonjourr" and hit Enter. Look for the extension named "Bonjourr - Minimalist New Tab" by Bonjourr.

3. Install Bonjourr: Click on the "Add to Chrome" button next to the Bonjourr extension. A pop-up window will appear; click "Add extension" to confirm the installation.

4. Confirm Installation: Once installed, you’ll see a confirmation message, and the Bonjourr icon will appear in the Chrome toolbar.

Step 2: Activate Bonjourr

1. Access the Extension: Click on the Bonjourr icon in your Chrome toolbar to activate it. If you don’t see the icon, click on the puzzle piece icon (Extensions) and pin Bonjourr for easy access.

2. Set Bonjourr as Your New Tab Page: After clicking on the Bonjourr icon, a new tab will open, displaying the Bonjourr interface. This new tab page will now replace your default Chrome new tab page.

Step 3: Get into Bonjourr SettingsOpen Settings: 

On your new Bonjourr tab, click on the settings icon (usually represented by a gear or three horizontal lines) located in the corner of the screen.

1. Customize Appearance:

   • Background: Choose from a variety of backgrounds, including solid colors, gradients, or even custom images. You can also upload your own background image if desired.
   • Widgets: Enable or disable different widgets such as the clock, weather, to-do list, and search bar.
   • Font Styles: Customize the font style and size to match your aesthetic preferences.

2. Configure Additional Features:

   • Integrations: Bonjourr allows you to integrate with services like Google Calendar, Spotify, and more. Go to the "Integrations" section in the settings to link your accounts and enable these features.
   • Shortcuts: Set up quick access shortcuts to your most-visited sites or favorite apps. This can be done in the "Shortcuts" section of the settings.

3. Save and Apply Changes: After customizing Bonjourr to your liking, make sure to click "Save" or "Apply" (depending on the settings layout) to ensure all your changes take effect.
